Ocean City Beach House

Our repeat client wanted to create a family retreat on this Gardens District property. She desired a generous, welcoming vacation house with good flow, large open communal spaces and numerous bedrooms for quiet retreat. Our design features combined kitchen-dining-living spaces that flow out to a backyard sanctuary replete with a fireplace, casual and dining seating, and a swimming pool with water features. The bedrooms are comfortably appointed with a mix of private and shared baths. The 3rd floor bedrooms have cozy outdoor sitting decks with beautiful rooftop views. Traditional design makes this house appear as though it was always part of the older neighborhood. Durable and low maintenance materials and details allow the homeowner to focus on relaxing and enjoying her beach time. Extended family gatherings with children, siblings, nieces and nephews have filled the home with cheer and laughter and attest to the success of its design.
